Write a New Post

Write a New Forum Post...

1. To post in any Just Ask Locals forums, you must be a registered user.
2. Navigate to the forums in the Main Navigation Bar.
3. Choose a forum listed in the secondary navigation bar.
4. Click the Write a New Post link. This will open up a page which defaults to the Compose tab, from here you can first choose whether your forum post is a Question or Discussion post. 
5. Enter a subject in the subject heading and compose the body of your post. 
6. Enter a Tag in the Tag Box and select whether you wish to have email replies sent to you of your post. They will be emailed you to at the email address you used when you joined Just Ask Locals.
7. Click Post on the bottom of the page to submit.
8. If you've entered your post as a discussion, then others may reply to your post and you may comment on their replies. If you've entered your post as a Question, then you will see the Suggest an Answer selections in the right sidebar after you have posted your question.
9. If the group Owner or Manager has enabled the Moderate Discussion Forums functionality, your post will not be visible until it's been approved, after which you will receive an email, to the email address you provided when becoming a registered user at Just Ask Locals, stating that your post has been approved and is ready to be viewed, along  with a link to the post.
