Group news and announcements are published in the blog...

A Blog (derived from the words "web log") is used for one-to-many communication.  Blogs are typically used by organizations to regularly publish news and announcements, and by individuals to publish frequent posts as in a daily diary or travel journal.

• Group blog functionality may be enabled or disabled by group owners.  Learn more.
  

• Only group managers and owners have permission to publish blog posts.  Learn more.

Group members do not have permission to create and publish blog posts.  If a group member wishes to write blog posts, the member should contact the blog owner and request that his group membership be changed from a member to a manager.
