.06 - Maps Tab

You will never again have to ask "Where are you located?"  

The maps tab appears only if the owner (or publisher) of the directory listing has enabled mapping functionality.  Just Ask Locals mapping functionality is built upon Google Maps, and is a very simple yet powerful feature.

• Map Type - Allows you to change how the map is displayed... map, satellite or hybrid.
  Pan Control - Allows you pan the view window left, right, up and down.  Alternatively, you can also just click, hold and drag to pan the view window in any direction you wish. 

• Zoom Control - Allows you to zoom in and out to see greater detail or the bigger picture.  Alternatively, you can double click the left button on your mouse to zoom in and double click the right button of you mouse to zoom out. Using the double click method to zoom in is very convenient because the map will also center itself wherever your cursor was located when you double clicked. 

• View Reset - After you have zoomed and panned to your heart's delight, you can instantly return to the original map view by clicking the view reset button.
