Just Ask Locals is a philanthropic start-up internet technology company that provides vacation destination communities with best-in-class Community Websites which are able to help the communities organize, promote tourism, and raise funds for local schools.

The Just Ask Locals Website is a branded global portal, with functionally identical individual Community Websites organized beneath informative Country Websites which are in turn organized beneath the single global domain justasklocals.com.  Communities benefit from increased exposure to potential tourists and visitors as the Just Ask Locals portal achieves critical mass.

The Community Websites are created, hosted and initially populated with content by Just Ask Locals at no cost to communities.  Stewardship of the Community Websites is relinquished to community locals deemed trustworthy by their peers.  The Website Stewards are empowered to moderate and manage all of the content on their Community Website, as well as monetize premium advertising features.

Local businesses benefit from aggregating an otherwise disparate collection of individual websites and unpublished information into a single authoritative web presence containing content they control.  Community organizations benefit from the use of private Groups to facilitate collaboration to accomplish community objectives.

Visitors benefit from easy single point access to such aggregated information, and the ability to interact directly with locals to tap into the collective knowledge base of the community to facilitate their travel planning.

A significant portion (25%) of premium advertising revenues generated by the Community Websites will be returned to the community to further the primary education of children.  Remaining revenues are used by Just Ask Locals to maintain a sustainable business model and fund additional good works through the Just Ask Locals Foundation, a companion charitable organization to be formed in the United States.
