Roger,

In a recent conversation with John Conagghan, I noticed that the time on each of our messages was a hour off for Playa Grande/CR time.

Hi Barbara,

You need to edit your profile to set your timezone...  go to your dashboard "My Dashboard", then click the "Edit Profile" next to your avatar, and scroll down to the Timezone drop down.  That should do the trick!

Best,

Roger

Hi Roger,

Last Wednesday, I edited my profile to show the time zone as -6 hours GMT.  I 'saved' it and exited.  Today, my profile shows a time zone of -8 GMT, Pacific time.  Should I try something else?

Roger,

It looks like a time zone of -6 hours GMT (Central America) needs to be added to the profile options/time zone for those of us living in Central America.  It appears that the time zone -6 hours GMT (Central US & Canada) is adjusting for standard/daylight changes, making the time stamp incorrect, depending on what time of the year one is using the conversation feature to contact JAL members.
